Daniel Carlisle, Associate

Daniel Carlisle joined the Weg & Myers team in December 2022. Daniel began his career as a prosecutor in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. Since leaving the DA’s office, Daniel has continued to work as a litigator, with practice areas ranging from Product Liability and Medical Malpractice to Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law. He has experience handling cases at each stage of litigation, from inception to appeal. Daniel received his law degree in 2019 from Washington and Lee University where he worked at the Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse representing people sentenced to life or long-term sentences. Daniel represented multiple incarcerated people before the Virginia Parole Board and worked on the clemency petition to the Governor for another of his clients.

Between his time at the Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse, the Bronx DA’s Office, and as a civil litigator, Daniel has extensive experience in both written and oral advocacy.
