James Diven, Associate
James Diven joined the Weg & Myers team in February 2024 and received
formal admission to the Bar of the State of New York in January 2024.
Prior to being admitted, James clerked at firms over the prior two years
gaining experience in all phases of civil litigation in a variety of subject
areas, stretching from construction litigation to finance regulations
to medical malpractice. After receiving his B.S from the University of
Tampa in 2020, James attended Pace University Law School, where he became
the Articles Editor of the Pace Law Review as well as graduating in the
top 10% of his class. While in Law School, James also worked as a Legal
Intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District
of New York as well as a Judicial Intern with New York State Supreme Court
Justice Charles D. Wood. James also was a published contributor to the
Credit & Collection Education Forum.
